History

Incorporations

On 1 July 1972, the formerly independent communities Geckenheim and Reusch were incorporated.

Coat of arms

The Coat of Arms description is: square; covered with a split seven silver and blue heart-shaped shield; 1 and 4: red two golden oblique beams; 2: in black and a golden vine leaf overthrown; 3: Black in a slumped golden oak leaf.
