Geographical Location
The settlement area Illes home is situated on the south bank of the verge of springing Aisch.

Neighboring municipalities are (from north clockwise beginning ): Bad Windsheim, Obernzenn, Oberdachstetten, market Bergel and Burgbernheim.

History
Incorporations
On 1 July 1975, the formerly independent communities Urfersheim and westheim were incorporated.

Traffic
Illes home has a breakpoint on the railway line Neustadt ( Aisch ) - Steinach bei Rothenburg. Illes home is east at the intersection of highways 13 with the 470 directly north on the outskirts passes.
