Oberdachstetten is located on the northern edge of the district of Ansbach in the administrative region of Middle Franconia. Neighboring municipalities are (from north clockwise beginning ): Illes Home, Obernzenn, Flachslanden, teaching mountain, Colmberg and market Bergel.

History

Since the early Middle Ages there was a place where the population of interest on certain days to a so-called day thing ( trial ) came together.
