Parish council
The local council of Neusitz has since May 2008 14 members (previously 12), because the community now has more than 2000 inhabitants. Among the 14 members I might add a mayor. In the municipal election on March 2, 2008, only one nomination (list) was filed, the CSU and the Free Voters called himself (as in the previous elections ). The list name is misleading because the nomination has nothing to do with the state-wide is occurring outdoors voters (FW). It is rather a Neusitzer unit list, on which the majority of candidates are not CSU members. 2008, only three CSU members as candidates (with 24 candidates).
