Windelsbach
Diaper is a municipality in the district of Ansbach in Central Franconia (Bavaria ). She is a member of the administrative community Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

Diaper Bach is located in the natural park of Franconia.

History
The first written mention dates from Bach's diaper 1241. Diaper Bach in today's region of Middle Franconia part of the 1792 acquired by Prussia Principality of Ansbach, which lay in the Frankish Empire Circle from 1500. With the Act of Confederation, in 1806 the city became part of Bavaria. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community.
Incorporations
On January 1, 1972, the formerly independent communities Nordenberg and Preuntsfelden were incorporated. On May 1, 1978 in Burghausen and Cadolzhofen were added.

Parish council
After the last municipal election on March 2, 2008, the council has twelve members who are all free to the fraction voters. The turnout was 68.8 %. Another member and chairman of the municipal council is the mayor.
Coat of arms
The coat of arms description reads: In a tilted gold, three times divided by silver and blue shield on its left corner of a blue pot helmet with two red vertical cylinders as crest, whose right is provided with small holes.

In the settlement Erlach ( 49/25/08 N, 10.18.22 E) of the district Hornau is one of the sources of Altmühltherme.
