Geography

Geographical Location

Mitteleschenbach located on the outskirts of the Franconian Lake District. Through the town flows the Altbach, which flows together in Gersbach with the Bambach for Erlbach, which is a right tributary of the Franconian Rezat. History

Established the place was probably in the 11th century. At this time, there was already in place a church, St. Nicholas and St. Sola was consecrated.
