Wu Minxia

Minxia Wu (Chinese吴敏霞, Pinyin Wú Mǐnxiá; born November 10, 1985 in Shanghai) is a Chinese water jumper. It starts in the art of jumping from 1 m and 3 m board. Wu Minxia began at the age of seven years with the sport and left her family with twelve to better train can. She is a student at Peking University. The Pekingerin heard since 2000 of 1 m, 3 m- board and in the synchronized diving from the 3 m springboard to world leaders. After the Summer Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 where Guo Jingjing with Fu Mingxia won gold in synchronized diving, Wu was new partner of Guo after Fu retired from active competition. 2001, the new duo in Fukuoka immediately became world champion in 3-meter synchronized diving, Wu also won silver from 1-m board.
