Roman Catholic Diocese of La Guaira

The Diocese of La Guaira (Latin: Dioecesis Guairiensis ) is a location in Venezuela Roman Catholic diocese based in La Guaira. It comprises the state of Vargas.

History

Pope Paul VI. erected the diocese on 15 April 1970 with the Apostolic Constitution Cum summus from a part of the territory of the Archdiocese of Caracas, where it was assumed as a suffragan.
