Roman Catholic Diocese of Carora

The diocese Carora (Latin: Dioecesis Carorensis ) is a location in Venezuela Roman Catholic diocese based in Carora. It includes a part of the state of Lara.

History

Pope John Paul II founded the bishopric on 25 July 1992 with the Apostolic Constitution Certiori christifidelium out of territory of the Archdiocese of Barquisimeto, where it was assumed as a suffragan.
