Roman Catholic Diocese of Los Teques

The Diocese of Los Teques (Latin: Dioecesis Tequinensis ) is a location in Venezuela Roman Catholic diocese based in Los Teques. It includes a part of the state of Miranda.

History

Pope Paul VI. founded the bishopric of Los Teques with the Apostolic Constitution Amor ille on July 23, 1965 from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Caracas, where it was assumed as a suffragan.

On 30 November 1996 it lost part of its territory to the diocese Guarenas.
