1948 World Snooker Championship

The Snooker World Cup 1948, a tournament which was held in Leicester Square Hall in London, England.

In the final, the Scot Walter Donaldson and the Englishman Fred Davis stood over again. In contrast, as in the previous year, Davis was a victory, by 84:61, the first capture of eight World Championship titles.

The highest break, with 109 points, also scored Davis.
