2000 World Snooker Championship
The Snooker World Championship 2000 was held from 15 April to 1 May 2000 Crucible Theatre in Sheffield held and concluded the snooker season 1999 /2000.
Defending champion was the Scot Stephen Hendry, but this year lost in the first round against the Englishman Stuart Bingham 7:10. The winner was the Welshman Mark Williams, for whom this was the first World Championship title.
