1991 World Snooker Championship
The Snooker World Cup 1991, which took place from 20 April to 6 May 1991 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, formed the conclusion of the snooker season 1990 / 91st
Defending champion Stephen Hendry failed in the quarterfinals to Steve James. In the final, John Parrott won with 18:11 against Jimmy White and was ( two years after his final defeat (1989 against Steve Davis) ) as the first and only time snooker world champion. After 1984 and 1990 it was the third of six World Cup final defeats for White.
