1990 FIVB Volleyball World League
The 1990 season of the Volleyball World League was the first edition of the competition. It began on April 27 and ended on July 15. Italy won the title.
Mode
The preliminary round was played in two groups of four teams. The top two teams in each group qualified for the semifinals, where they encountered one another diagonally. The winners of the semi-finals contributed from the final, the losers playing for third place.
