2002 FIVB Volleyball World League
The 2002 season of the Volleyball World League was the 13th edition of the competition. It began on June 27 and ended on August 18. Russia won the title for the first time.
Mode
The preliminary ( " intercontinental round " ) was held in four groups of four teams. The top two teams in each group qualified for the final round. There she played in two groups of four. The two best teams in the final two groups reached the semi-finals.
