1997–98 Polska Liga Hokejowa season

The 1997/98 season was the 63rd season of the Polish Hockey League, the highest Polish Ice Hockey league. Master became the second overall time in club history Unia Oświęcim.

Mode

First, the twelve teams spent a common main round. The top six teams qualified for the final round, the participants all qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. The remaining seven teams contested a qualifying round, the top two teams also qualified for the playoffs. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
