2001–02 Austrian Football Bundesliga

The Austrian Football Championship 2001 /02 was hosted by the Austrian Football Bundesliga club. As substructure for max.Bundesliga the single-track First Division served. The third power level represented the regional leagues east ( Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland), middle (Upper Austria, Styria, Carinthia ) and West (Salzburg, Tyrol, Vorarlberg).

Max.Bundesliga

The Championship 2001 /02 was largely dominated by the FC Tirol. The FC Tirol Innsbruck got away from competitors already during the first half of the spring passage and won superior with ten points ahead of SK Sturm Graz. This could be celebrated under manager Robert Hochstaffl the already third title as the Austrian football champions in series. This has so far been successful only Rapid, Austria and Vienna.
