2002–03 Slovak Extraliga season

The season 2002 /03 Extraliga was the tenth regular hosting of the top division of Slovakia. In the playoff finals, the HC Slovan Bratislava sat against the HC Košice with a 4-0 sweep and won the fourth Slovak championship in club history. The HK Ves ​​was relegated to the second class 1 league due to the last place in the main round. The team was replaced by the second division champions HK Nitra.
