2011â€“12 Skeleton World Cup

The Skeleton World Cup 2011/2012 began on November 29, 2011 in Igls, and ended on February 11, 2012 in Calgary. The season was played in eight World Cup races parallel to the Bob World Cup 2011/2012. Was organized the racing series of the Fédération Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing ( FIBT ). Among the season highlights was the European Championship from January 3 to 8, 2012 in Altenberg, which was held in parallel to the World Cup. The season ended with the World Cup from 13th to 26th February 2012 in Lake Placid.

As a base for the World Cup acted the Intercontinental, the European Cup and the America's Cup. The results of all racing series were included in the FIBT Skeleton Ranking 2011/2012.
