2012 Wales Rally GB

Day 1 ( Friday, September 14 )
Petter Solberg (Ford ) started with two personal bests in the Rally of Great Britain. Jari -Matti Latvala drove faster in the four subsequent stages and stayed as the leader in the overall standings. This time no chance against the Ford factory driver Sébastien Loeb in Citroën, he lost over 21 seconds Latvala.
Day 2 (Saturday, September 15th)
Jari -Matti Latvala also made on the second day very few mistakes and led the rally with 24 seconds to Solberg. Loeb struggled with Solberg for second place and was only just with 6.4 seconds behind after 13 special stages. Mads Østberg (Ford) was in third place ahead of Mikko Hirvonen ( Citroën).
Day 3 ( Sunday, September 16 )
Latvala won the Rally of Great Britain (Wales ) As in the previous year. Loeb overhauled Solberg and was second. With 62 championship points lead to team-mate Hirvonen, Loeb was hard to take the world championship win yet, though three more rallies provided any information in the 2012 season. Hirvonen was fifth behind Østberg, who drove to fourth place despite technical problems.
