57th Berlin International Film Festival

The 57th International Film Festival Berlin took place until February 18, 2007 of February 8.

The Berlinale was with Olivier Dahan 's La vie en rose (OT: La Môme ) opened. In the French drama Marion Cotillard embodies the French chanteuse Édith Piaf ( 1915-1963 ).

The Children's Film Festival was awarded to the 30th anniversary of a new name and will continue to run under the title "Generation ".

Retrospective

The retrospective was titled " City Girls. Images of Women in Silent Film " and dealt with the new image of women in the early 20th century in the silent film. Generation

The children's film festival took place this year for the 30th time and received with "generation" a new name.
