Andervenne
The community Andervenne is a member municipality of the velvet municipality Freren in the Emsland district, in Lower Saxony. The municipality has 933 inhabitants and covers an area of 19.52 square kilometers.

Geography
Geographical Location
The community Andervenne is located on the B 214 between Freren and Fuerstenau and about 20 km east of the Ems and the town of Lingen on the south side of the Lingen height. On the territory of the municipality lies Andervenne the southeast shore of the lake Saller.
Neighboring communities
Neighboring communities in the north are the communities Lengerich and Handrup, both in the Samtgemeinde Lengerich, in the east of the city Fuerstenau in the same integrated municipality in the district of Osnabrück and in the southwest city Freren.

History
The village ( Anderveni ) was first documented in 1000.

Parish council
The council consists of nine council women and men. After the local elections on 11 September 2011 accounts for eight seats on the CDU and a mandate to the SPD. The next local elections will take place in 2016.
Coat of arms
The coat of arms shows at the top of a golden barley sheaf on a blue background. The stalks in the lower part are blue on a golden background. In the left and right lower corner two outwardly facing red horse heads found on a golden background.
Sports
The area around the Saller See lake in the northwest of the community has been a " skike park" developed in 2008. The skike Park is the oldest of its kind in Germany.
SV heather Andervenne
The biggest club in the community Andervenne belong to about 500 members. In eight different divisions about 300 sportsmen and women of all ages are active. In addition to football, the club karate, children's gymnastics, volleyball, women's sports, walking, Monday Sport offers for men and table tennis.
