Andrey Silnov

Andrei Alexandrovich Silnow (Russian: Андрей Александрович Сильнов; born September 9, 1984 in Schachty, Rostov Oblast ) is a Russian athlete who was 2008 Olympic champion in high jump.

Silnow jumped over 2.10 meters in 2002 for the first time. He finished ninth at the U23 European Championships in 2005; also in 2005 he improved his personal best to 2.28 meters.
