Banari

Banari ( Sardinian: Banari ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 611 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the north of the island of Sardinia in the province of Sassari. The municipality is situated approximately 21 km south-southeast of Sassari.

History

The name of the village derives from the people of the Balaren that have left important works of Nuraghen.
