Viddalba

Viddalba ( Gallurese: Viddaecchja ) is a town with 1,700 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Sassari.

Geography

Valle Doria is located in northern Sardinia, in the valley of the river Coghinas between the flood plain of the Coghinas and the adjoining ridges.

The neighboring municipalities are Aggius (OT), Badesi (OT), Bortigiadas (OT ), Santa Maria Coghinas, Trinità d' Agultu e Vignola ( OT) and Valle Doria.

In Viddalba is an archaeological museum with finds from the nearby Nuraghengebiet of San Leonardo.
