Bang Sai District (1404)

Amphoe Bang Sai ( Thai: อำเภอ บางไทร ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the southern part of the province ( Changwat ) Ayutthaya. The Ayutthaya Province located in the central region of Thailand.

There is another district of Bang Sai in Ayutthaya province, whose name is indeed romanized in the same case, however, the Thai spelling is different ( บางซ้าย ).

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise): Amphoe Bang the Ban, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and Bang Pa-In Ayutthaya Province, Amphoe Sam Khok Pathum Thani Province and Amphoe Lat Bua Luang and turn Sena, Ayutthaya.

History

The history of the district dates back to Khwaeng Sena Noi, which was in 1898 converted into an Amphoe. In 1923 he was in Ratchakhram renamed according to the central tambon. Since 1925, the administration was transferred to the Tambon Bang Sai, 1939 this name was taken.
