Phachi District

Amphoe Phachi ( Thai: อำเภอ ภาชี ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the eastern part of the province of Ayutthaya. The Ayutthaya province is located in the central region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise): Amphoe Tha Ruea Ayutthaya Province, Amphoe Nong Saeng and the Nong Khae the Saraburi and Nakhon Luang Province of Uthai and again in Ayutthaya.

History

The county was established in 1953 by being separated from Amphoe Uthai.

Phachi in Thai is one who shares with others or something divides. It refers to the diversion of the Thai railway in the county. Here the distance from Bangkok Coming shares in the Northern Line and the Northeast line.

Administrative divisions

Amphoe Bang Ban is in eight communities ( tambon) divided, which in turn in 65 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Phachi ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ภาชี ) is also the name of a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district, it consists of the entire Tambom Phachi and parts of Phai Lom.

In addition, there are seven " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
