Berlin Unter den Linden station

The future subway station Unter den Linden is a under construction interchange station of the Berlin U -Bahn. It is built as part of the extension of the U5 from Alexanderplatz to the Brandenburg Gate, with its construction in 2010 (first sod ) was started. The station is located at the intersection with the existing line U6, its opening is planned for 2019.

It is not identical with the S-Bahn station Brandenburger Tor, which bore the name until 2009 Unter den Linden.

Planning

Built a T-shaped junction station with the existing metro line 6 at the intersection of the boulevard Unter den Linden and Friedrichstrasse. From here access can be created on both sides of the Friedrichstraße promenade to the center of the street Unter den Linden.
