Brendan Corish

Brendan Corish (Irish Breandán Mac Fheorais; born November 19, 1918 † 17 February 1990) was an Irish politician of the Irish Labour Party and Deputy Prime Minister ( Tánaiste ).

Biography

Corish was elected on December 4, 1945 in the course of a by-election in the constituency of Wexford in the 12th Dáil Éireann. In the following elections, he was able to defend his position always.
