Briatico

Briatico is an Italian town in the province of Vibo Valentia in Calabria with 3931 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Location and data

Briatico located 17 km northwest of Vibo Valentia in the Gulf of Sant ' Eufemia. The neighboring municipalities are Cessaniti, Vibo Valentia, Zaccanopoli, Zambrone, Zungri. The place consists of the districts Conidoni, Mandaradoni, Paradisoni, Potenzoni, San Costantino, San Leo and Sciconi.

Attractions

In the old part of the city is a ruin of a medieval castle. On the beach are the remains of two towers dating from the 16th century.
