Cezary Grabarczyk

Cezary Grabarczyk ( born April 26, 1960 in Łódź) is a Polish politician. From 2007 to 2011 he was Minister of Infrastructure since November 8, 2011, he is one of the Vizemarschälle (Vice President ) of the Sejm.

Life

Cezary Grabarczyk attended the Fourth General School " Emilia Sczaniecka " in Łódź and was from 1967 to 1983 member of the Polish scouting organization Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego. In 1984 he completed his legal and administrative studies at the University of Łódź and was then admitted to legal practice in the city. In 1987 he was inspector of the Housing Association of the district Bałuty in Łódź. In 1989, he completed an internship in a law firm. In 1990 he became head of the Lodz Region for the Unia Polityki Realnej. 1988 to 1996 he was an assistant at the Department of Constitutional Law at the University of Łódź. In 1994, he joined the Unia Wolności ( Freedom Union ) and remained its member till 2001. From 3 April 1998 to 23 March 1999, he worked in Urząd Zamówień Publicznych ( Public Procurement Office ) in Warsaw. In March 1999, he was Vizewojewode voivodeship Łódź newly formed and remained so until 7 March 2001. In January 2001 he became a member of the Civic Platform ( Platforma Obywatelska ). For this he drew in 2001 in the Polish Sejm. In the parliamentary elections in Poland in 2005, he received a seat in the Sejm again and became chairman of the Commission for Justice and Human Rights. He was also a member of the Commission of National Defence and the Commission for the extraordinary. This period also its commitment to the construction of an airport at Lublin, the S8 express road and a bypass road for Wieluń falls. In 2006 he was elected chairman of the Civic Platform for the Łódź Province. In the early parliamentary elections in Poland in 2007, he won a seat in Parliament and in turn was appointed by Donald Tusk in his first cabinet as Minister of Infrastructure. After the 2011 parliamentary elections, he was elected one of the Vice-President and Parliament not returned to the government.

Cezary Grabarczyk is married and has two children.
