Chris Kreider

Chris Kreider ( born April 30, 1991 Boxford, Massachusetts) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since April 2012 at the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Chris Kreider began his career as a hockey player in the high school team in the Masconomet Regional Chieftains, for the winger from 2005 to 2007 was active. In the following two seasons Kreider went to the team of elite high school Phillips Academy on the ice. There, he scored in his debut season in 24 games 41 points scorer; in his second season of Americans drove in 26 games with 56 points scorer. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2009 in the first round than a total of 19 players from the New York Rangers. First visited the winger Boston College, for the first time he ran aground in the 2009/10 season in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. With his college team he won in his rookie year immediately awarded the Championship of Hockey East and the NCAA. Two years later he was able to repeat this success with the Boston College and was elected to the Second All-Star Team of the Hockey East.

Then Kreider signed on 10 April 2012, an initial three-year contract with the New York Rangers. Just six days later, he performed his first mission in the NHL when play-off game against the Ottawa Senators. His first goal he scored in the sixth game of the series, as he holds the Senators scored the winning goal in a 3-2 victory. Overall, it is an 18 play-off games seven points.

In the following two seasons Kreider was early in the season but only in the squad of the Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' farm team of the American Hockey League. In the course of the season he was called forth in the respective NHL squad of Rangers. On November 30, 2013, the rookie scored his first NHL hat trick in the game against the Vancouver Canucks.

Internationally

For the U.S., Kreider took part in the junior level at the U20 Junior World Cup 2010, in which he became world champion with his team. For this success he added, with six goals and an assist in seven games. In the U20 World Youth Championship 2011, he won the bronze medal with his team.

In the senior level, he stood first in his country's squad at the World Cup 2010 in Germany. In this he stood in all six games of his team on the ice, scored a goal and gave a presentation. He also represented the U.S. at the World Championship 2011 in Slovakia.
