The south end of the park

The Cutler Park is a 700 acre (3 km ²) large state park in Norfolk County in the state of Massachusetts in the United States. The park is located between the Massachusetts Route 128 and the Charles River. He is part of the Metropolitan Park System of Greater Boston and managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

Description

In the park there are many ways to engage in active. These include hiking, bird watching, mountain biking and cross country skiing. The protected area includes the largest still existing drinking water marsh on the middle Charles River, where there is a narrow boardwalk to an island.

Along the west side of Cutler Pond is still the place to see where the earth was removed in the 19th century in order to use them as packing material for the Back Bay. For transportation specifically a railway track was laid out, their rail lines are still partially visible at the north entrance of the park at the Kendrick Street.
