The area Rumney Marsh Reservation is a designated as a state park reserve in Saugus and Revere, Massachusetts in the United States. The park is managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR ) and is part of the Metropolitan Park System of Greater Boston.
The more than 600 acres ( 2.4 km ²) comprehensive recreational and nature conservation area consists almost entirely of salt marshes and is located within the estuary of the rivers Saugus River and Pines River. In particular, migratory birds and aquatic life find a refuge here. The DCR has it as " Area of Critical Environmental Concern" from.
