Delaware wine

Viticulture in Delaware called viticulture in the American state of Delaware. According to U.S. law, each state and each county is a protected designation of origin by definition and does not need to be recognized by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as such.

The viticulture is due to the almost hot-humid tropical climate only at the beginning: Only the registered also produce fruit wines alongside wine from vines two wineries.

The viticulture dates back to Swedish settlers in 1638.
