Drážov

Drazov until 1960 Dražov ( German Draschow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eleven kilometers west of Volyně in South Bohemia and belongs to Okres Strakonice.

Geography

Drazov located in the foothills of the Bohemian Forest on the southern foot of the hill Chocholka ( 677 m). The village is located on the right side of the creek Hoslovický creek in the valley of a small tributary. To the north rise the Novoveský vrch ( 765 m), the Chocholka ( 677 m) and the Rudovka ( 699 m ) east of the Dubovec (706 m) and the Na Vrších ( 674 m), in the southeastern MLAD ( 663 m), south of the Na Velkém policy ( 749 m) in the southwest of Zahájený (845 m ) west of the Beletínský kopec (715 m) and in the northwest of the Kůstrý (837 m ) and the Buková skala ( 766 m).

Neighboring towns are Kváskovice in the north, Hoslovice, Pohodnice and Němčice in the northeast, Hořejšice, Dřešínek and Dřešín in the east, V Mlýnech and Dobrš the southeast, Chvalšovice, Prečín, Přečínské Chalupy and Pod Kapličkou in the South, America, Macha, Na Rejtích, Vrbice, Tomasek, Bečvář, Korytský and Paloucký the southwest, Zálesí, Biskup, Maleč, Macura and U Benedy in the west and Paryzek, Lhota pod Kůstrým and Víska in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village to the estate Dobrš corresponding place in the year 1318. Owners were from the 14th to the late 16th century the Vladiken Kotz of Dobrz, then from 1615 Johann Kawka of rican and in 1679 Franz Albrecht Chřepicky of Modlischowitz. The latter sold the property in 1690 to Apollonia Ludmila Gräfin von Althann. Their son Hubert Sigmund of Althann sold the estate Dobrš on April 7, 1707 Prince Adam Franz zu Schwarzenberg, who combined it with his neighboring estate Přetschin. Owner of the goods remained the princes of Schwarzenberg. After the death of Joseph II, Prince of Schwarzenberg inherited it in 1833, his son Johann Adolf II. Dražow in 1840 consisted of 27 houses with 231 inhabitants, including a home rule for Wolin was submissive. In Dražow was a stately Flußhaus, was recovered in the temporary potash. Vicarage was dobr ( Dobrš ). Until the mid- 19th century, the village always the Allodialgut Přetschin including dobr and Rohanow remained submissive.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dražov / Draschow formed in 1850 a part of the community Dobrž in the District Commission Strakonice and the jurisdiction Volyně. 1869 lived in the village of 247 people, in 1900 there were 214 1912 Dražov broke loose from Dobrš and formed its own community. 1930 lived in 40 houses of Dražov 213 inhabitants. On 1 February 1949, the municipality Dražov was assigned to the Okres Vimperk. In 1950, the village of 42 houses consisted of 142 residents. After the abolition of Okres Vimperk the municipality on July 1, was amended in 1960 part of the Okres Strakonice and at the same time the place name in Drazov. 1961 were incorporated Dobrš, Kváskovice and Zálesí. In 1970, the district Drazov had only 98 inhabitants, in 1990 lived in the district Drazov 123 people.

The municipality consists of the villages Drazov Dobrš ( Dobersch ) Drazov ( Draschow ) Kváskovice ( Kwaskowitz ) and Zálesí (Sales ) and the layering in America, Korytský, Macura, Paloucký and Paloučky.

The municipality is divided into the Katastralbezirke Dobrš (240 ha), Drazov (305 ha), Kváskovice (228 ha) and Zálesí ( 457 ha).
