Erawan National Park

The Erawan National Park ( Thai: อุทยานแห่งชาติ เอราวัณ ) is a 550 km ² national park in the western part of the central region of Thailand. The park headquarters is located in the district ( tambon) Tha Kradan of the district ( Amphoe ) Si Sawat in Kanchanaburi province. When it opened in 1975, he was the 11th national park of Thailand.

Climate

The Erawan National Park is located in the cooler western Thailand. The hilly area with an evergreen forest has warm, dry winter. As of April, the temperatures rise back up to 39 ° C.
