Flémalle is a municipality in the Belgian province of Liège in Wallonia.

The municipality is situated on the Meuse, about 17 km south-west of Liege; 46 km there are to Maastricht, to Namur 55 km, 60 km to Aachen, to Brussels to Antwerp 98 km and 130 km away.

Twinning

Flémalle is twinned with the Italian town of Piombino in Tuscany.

  • Castle Aigremont; Renaissance castle, which was rebuilt at the beginning of the 18th century
  • Fort of Flémalle; in the period from 1888 to 1891, located high above the Meuse fortress, which is open to the public every first Saturday of the month
