Fulvio Valbusa

Fulvio Valbusa (* February 15, 1969 in Verona ) is an Italian cross country skier. He is married and has two children. His sister Sabina Valbusa is also cross-country skier.

Fulvio Valbusa won at the World Championships 1995 in Thunder Bay and at the World Championships 1997 in Trondheim bronze team in the 1999 World Cup in Ramsau Bronze 25 km pursuit race and with the season and at the World Championships 2005 in Oberstdorf Silver 15 km freestyle. At the Olympic Winter Games in Nagano in 1998, he won silver in the relay. He won the previous two World Cup victories and was in the 1996/97 season third in the overall World Cup.

He achieved his greatest success at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games by winning the relay gold medal.
