Urpo Korhonen

Pentti Korhonen Urpo ( born February 8, 1923 in Rautalampi; † August 10, 2009 in Lahti ) was a Finnish cross-country skiers.

Urpo Korhonen started for the club Evon Mestäpojat. He participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 partly in Oslo, where she won together with Heikki Hasu, Paavo Tapio Mäkelä Lonkila and the gold medal in the 4x10 -kilometer relay race in front of the host Norwegians and the team from Sweden. It was at the same time winning the World Championship title.
