Glenn O'Shea

Glenn O'Shea ( born June 14, 1989) is an Australian track and road racing cyclist.

Glenn O'Shea won the gold medal in the Scratch the junior class at the Oceania Games in Melbourne in 2006. The following year he became an Australian champion in the points race the junior class and the elite class in Madison. At the Junior Track Cycling World Championships in Aguascalientes, he won the silver medal in the Madison with Leigh Howard and gold respectively in the Omnium and in the team pursuit. He was also the Oceania in 2008 Omnium and Scratch. 2008 O'Shea won the Team Pursuit, Madison and the Omnium competition in the Australian Championship. Together with Leigh Howard, he won the 2008 UIV Cup race in Amsterdam and Munich. At the Track Cycling World Cup 2008/2009 in Melbourne O'Shea was the points race successfully. In 2009 he was twice Australian Champion, in the scratch and points race.

2011, Glenn O'Shea again Australian Champion in the Team Pursuit. When you first run of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2011/2012 in the Kazakh Astana he was the most successful participants, with two first places in the two - team driving with Alexander Edmondson, and in the individual pursuit, and a second place in the team pursuit. In the UCI Track World Championships 2012 in Melbourne, he became world champion in the Omnium. The following year, at the Track World Championships in Minsk he was world champion again, this time in the team pursuit, together with Edmondson, Michael Hepburn and Alexander Morgan; in the Omnium, he won bronze.
