Greg Walden

Gregory " Greg" Walden ( born January 10, 1957 in The Dalles, Oregon) is an American politician. Since 1999, he represents the second electoral district of the state of Oregon in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Greg Walden visited until 1981, the University of Oregon in Eugene. Later he was with his wife Mylene owner of a communications company. Politically, he was a member of the Republican Party. Between 1981 and 1987 he worked on the staff of Congressman Denny Smith; 1988-1995 he was a deputy in the House of Representatives from Oregon. Then he sat from 1995 to 1997 in the State Senate, where he was Group Head of Republican senators. In the meantime, he aspired to a candidacy for governor of Oregon. Privately, he lives with his wife in Hood River. The couple has a son. Walden is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club.
