A. Walter Norblad

Albin Walter Norblad junior ( born September 12, 1908 in Escanaba, Michigan, † September 20, 1964 in Bethesda, Maryland ) was an American politician.

Norblad was born 1908 in Michigan, the son of the later Governor of Oregon, Albin Walter Norblad. In the same year his family moved to Astoria in Oregon. He attended the New Mexico Military Academy in Roswell and studied at the University of Oregon in Eugene. In 1932 he finished his studies and was admitted to the legal profession. Norblad now started practicing in Astoria. From 1935 to 1937 he was a member of the House of Representatives of Oregon. As a member of the Republican Party Norblad 1940 was a delegate to the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia.

Norblad was elected in a special election to the Congress to occupy there in the House of Representatives for the vacant seat of the late James W. Mott new. This Norblad represented the state of Oregon from 18 January 1946 until his death on 20 September 1964. Norblad was buried in Lone Oak Cemetery in Stayton, Oregon.
