Hamit Altıntop [ hamit altɯntɔp ] ( born December 8, 1982 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German of Turkish football player who is under contract with the Turkish first division side Galatasaray.

Family and birth

Altintop's parents both come from the province of Malatya. Hamit and his twin brother Halil were born in Gelsenkirchen.

Youth
