Inger Helene Nybråten

Inger Helene Nybråten ( born December 8, 1960 in Fagernes in Fylke Oppland, Norway ) is a former Norwegian cross country skier who was active in the 1980s and 1990s.

She won at the Olympic Games and World Championships a total of nine medals ( two gold, three silver and four bronze ), including eight with the Norwegian season. Her achievements are the world champion title in 1982 and the Olympic gold medal in 1984. The only medal in an individual race she won at the 1995 World Cup when she was third in the 15 -kilometer race. The best individual result at the Olympic Games are fifth places in the 5 -kilometer race from 1984, 1992 and 1994.

In the Cross Country World Cup Nybråten won four races, one each in the years 1984, 1988, 1991 and 1995. Their best finish in the overall World Cup was the fourth place in the 1983 season / 84th
