Jason Blake (ice hockey)

Jason Blake ( born September 2, 1973 in Moorhead, Minnesota ) is an American professional ice hockey player who was most recently at the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Blake was in season 1998/99 committed by the Los Angeles Kings as a free agent after he had previously been active in various college clubs, and in the Junior League USHL with the Waterloo Black Hawks. In addition to intervening in the International Hockey League with the Kings farm team Orlando Solar Bears of the Center completed his first and only NHL game this season, but just scored his first goal for Los Angeles. Also in the following years he came in both farm teams as well as in the NHL used.

In January 2001, the left gunner finally changed to the New York Islanders, where he was already fast becoming the crowd favorite. During the 2004/ 05 lockout season Blake played in the Swiss National League A for the HC Lugano, after which he returned to New Yorkers. Internationally

For the American ice hockey team Blake was at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin in six games on the ice, he also took part in the World Ice Hockey Championship 2000, where he worked in seven games, a goal and an assist scored and with the United States the fifth occupied space.
