Jotunheimen-Nationalpark

The Jotunheimen National Park (Norwegian Jotunheimen nasjonalpark ) is a Norwegian national park, which is one of the municipalities of Lom, Lom and Vang in Oppland and Luster and Årdal in Sogn og Fjordane county. The park was established in 1980 to protect the beautiful, wild, unique, and largely untouched mountain landscape of Jotunheimen with their worth protecting flora and fauna.

To the west of the National Park on the nature reserve Utladalen. In Jotunheimen are some of the highest mountains in Northern Europe. Together with the Rondane National Park, and Dovre Dovre Sunndalsfjella the area around the Jotunheimen National Park is designated as Nasjonalparkriket.
