Keeper of the Seven Keys - The Legacy is the eleventh studio album of the band Helloween. It was released by SPV 2005.
Music style
The style is consistently Heavy Metal, there are, however, to find the complex arrangements bonds from the Progressive Metal.
Importance
The album represents the continuation of Keeper of the Seven Keys Part 1 ( 1987) and Keeper of the Seven Keys Part 2 ( 1988) dar. When the band announced a sequel, broke the news controversy among fans and the press of: Main focus of the skepticism was the fact that the line-up has changed dramatically since the original albums. In particular the absence of the original singer Michael Kiske was named as criticism.
The album was a huge success for the band ( it reached # 28 in the German album charts). The acceptance among fans and critics was largely positive. On the following outstanding visited World Tour Helloween recorded on a live album and a live DVD that was released in 2007.
Light the Universe is the first duet in the band's history. Guest vocalist Candice Night by Ritchie Blackmore's band Blackmore 's Night.
