Roland Grapow

Roland Grapow ( born August 30, 1959 in Hamburg ) is a German guitarist. He is best known for his long-standing membership in the power metal band Helloween. He now plays in the master plan. He has also released two solo albums.

Career

Grapow began playing guitar at the age of 12 years. In particular, he was inspired by guitarists like Michael Schenker and Uli Jon Roth. He played in various bands and finally took two professional albums with the band Rampage, but remained only until 1983 and it was musically less active.

After Kai Hansen had announced that he wanted to leave the end of 1988 Helloween, Michael Weikath recalled Grapow and called him. So he took 8 albums with the band. He also released two solo records. He was released together with Uli Kusch due to personal and musical differences in 2001.

So Grapow and Kush were formed together with Jørn land master plan, which they had previously planned as a side project.
