Action
In the ice rink of the city, the Simpsons Christmas Gala by Krusty visit during the festive season with the clown figure skater Elvis Stojko as a guest star. In the main part of the show steals a Grinch -like figure, the Grumple that Festagstimmung that should get their hands on other costume characters again. Due to a misunderstanding, the event ends instead in a brawl between festively costumed figures of the ice show and a basketball team. While Marge and the kids then go ahead, Homer tries to beat the Grumple and calls back the holiday spirit. Then the Grumple in the further course of the episode again and again tried to take revenge on Homer.
On Christmas Eve, the Simpsons go to the department store Costingtons to buy Christmas gifts. The department store Santa Claus is just the homeless Gil Gunderson. Lisa tells him that they have a certain Malibu Stacy doll wants, but which is sold out everywhere. Gil organized her the last unsold copy, which, however, the department store boss had originally set aside for his own daughter. Gil is subsequently dismissed. Margin has will notice the process falls into pity and invites Gil to spend Christmas Eve with the Simpson family.
As the evening goes very happy there margin on the Gil remains overnight. Since margin but forgotten by a childhood trauma to reject other people, finally is from a night almost a full year, he spends Gil on The Simpsons and ruined them properly, because it can be too attached. The day after Thanksgiving Gil takes almost unnoticed, a job for which he moved to Scottsdale. Marge had just decided to finally "no" to Gil to say.
To draw a line, Marge travels with his family to Scottsdale. There, Gil has made a career rapidly at Jackpot Realty and is now one of the better classes. As a margin reads it in the office all employees the riot act for his schnorring, Gil learns from his boss inglorious past and dismisses him. From bad conscience the Simpsons Gil can draw again.

- Kill Gil - Vol 1 & 2 was exactly 17 years after Christmas is difficult, the first Simpsons episode ever aired.

- The episode title alludes to Kill Bill - to Volume 2 - Volume 1 and Kill Bill. In addition, allusions to the Grinch Stole Christmas and Batman Begins again.
